Nokia N78 release any day now

Nokia fans will remember Nokia N73 to be an outstanding mobile phone built ahead of its peers but as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end, and so will the N73’s reign in the mobile phone kingdom. Nokia has just released its latest N78, a replacement for the N73 and will be available any day now. Let’s take a look at this new gadget and see if it can indeed beat the old-but-gold Nokia N73.

Firstly, the Nokia N78 is a 3.5G mobile phone with HSPDA/WCDMA, EDGE, GPRS and Wi-Fi support. By now, Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0 are common features in Nokia’s mid range mobile phones so expect to see these in the new Nokia N78. Like its predecessor, the Nokia N78 comes with a 3.2MP camera that sadly, was not upgraded to a 5.0MP affair, much to the disappointment of aspiring mobile phone shutterbugs. But what it does offer though is a Carl Zeiss lens, auto focus and LED flash that proves to be a tad brighter than the N73. The Nokia N78 also comes with a technologically advanced Symbian S60 operating system that’s not available in the N73. The Nokia N78 is also built to play and accommodate a host of multimedia clips such as MPEG-4, WMA, MP3 and AAC files. Videos are shot at a rate of 15 fps which is pretty substantial for a mid-to-high range mobile phone.

Lastly, Nokia has improved the keypad and incorporated a type of bar-like navigational display that never fails to light up when you’re using it.

Why wait when you can register your interest in the Nokia N78 right now!
