Smart phones are fast becoming a catch phrase these days. It seems that everyone needs one, whether they are business executives, students or gadget lovers. Even housewives have been known to sport a sleek smart phone every now and then. To cater to this growing market, Samsung is jumping on the smart phone bandwagon to release its upcoming Samsung SGH L870.
The Samsung L870 is rumoured to be the first smart phone to be released under the Samsung Soul label. It is said to be a Symbian slider mobile phone. In terms of looks, the Samsung L870 features a brushed metal exterior with a sleek keypad laid out very nicely minus the frills. At first glance one would come to the conclusion that the Samsung L870 is a high end mobile phone, and this statement cannot be denied at all. Its features include a 2.3” display with the ability to showcase 16 million colours, tri-band GSM, 2100 UMTS, 3.0MP camera, FM radio with built in RDS, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 and multimedia player.
Another rumour surrounding the Samsung L870 is that this smart phone might boast of a brand spanking new Safari web browser but the rumour was quickly refuted by Samsung. Fans are rather miffed at this hasty comment but all will be revealed by June 17 at the Communic Asia conference held in
