HTC launch their latest Touch Cruise

Just like the old adage says, don’t judge a book by its cover and so shall you not judge the new HTC Touch Cruise by its exterior alone. Underneath its unassuming facade lies a HTC P-series smart phone that’s packed with a great variety of features.

Most mobile phones boast of an elaborate interface but might disappoint the average user once they find out that these phones are nothing but beautiful shells. Not so for the HTC Touch Cruise. It does not try to be what it isn’t and is not in the least pretentious. It not only incorporates the much talked about TouchFLO interface, the HTC Touch is a HSPDA-enabled smart phone that runs on Windows Mobile 6. It has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for excellent connectivity. Besides being able to participate in video calls, taking pictures is a joy with this phone as the 3.0MP camera with auto focus feature proves to be very handy whenever one wants to capture images on the go. The stupendously huge 2.8” touch-sensitive display that boasts of 240 x 320 pixel resolution makes you want to view your photos and videos over and over again. If you need more space, feel free to plug in a MicroSD card into the allocated memory slot.

Finally, if you are wondering what the “Cruise” stands for in the HTC Touch Cruise, HTC explained that it is due to the built-in GPS receiver as well as TomTom navigation feature. Most will be delighted that this mobile phone can double up as a reliable SatNav unit to assist in their everyday travels.
