Samsung's latest offering: The Samsung i780

Samsung is not one to rest on its laurels after receiving praises for their wide variety of smart phones. It further extends the range with its latest offering, the new Samsung i780.

Like mobile phones before it, the Samsung i780 wows the crowd with its uncompromising features and practicality. Run on Windows Mobile 6 Professional, the Samsung i780 lets users create and edit Microsoft Office documents, play multimedia files and read mails using either the standard IPs or Microsoft’s DirectPush technology. The Samsung i780 is a 3.5G gadget with HSPDA data that allows for optimal download speed of up to 3.6Mbps accompanied with support features like UMTS, EDGE and GPRS. Connectivity is also effortless with Wi-Fi and the obligatory Bluetooth. Samsung vows not to lose out to other smart phone providers and includes a great GPS receiver. Users will also enjoy images projected by the crystal clear 2.6” display with 320 x 320. Navigating and surfing the web is also more fun and intuitive with the touch screen. Although the keypad resembles that of a Blackberry’s, it is still very nicely arranged. Shutterbugs on the go will certainly not mind the 2.0MP camera as well as the secondary VGA cam for video calls and video conferences.
